Technology has come a long way. It started with tin cans and string. Then there were rotary phones.
In the 1980's there were cell phones, but they were too big, and you had to put it in a bag because you couldn’t put it in your pocket. Now we have phones that you can put in your pocket and it can be small or big, but not big enough where it can’t fit in your pocket.
In my family the cell phone companies we have are Metro PCS, Sprint, and Verizon. My sister and I have Metro PCS because it is close to our house. My mom and dad use Sprint, and we use Verizon for the TV and internet. I don’t have that big book bag with that large phone. I have a light pink case on my phone and it’s the size of a pop tart. My second case is a YouTuber’s merch case.
You could not have apps on the old phones, but you can apps on the new phones now. They upgraded the phones so much that it’s a mini computer in your pocket. How many apps do I have? I have about 85 apps on my phone, but I’m only going to name the ones that I use the most.
The one that I spend the most time on TikTok. On TikTok, you can play games, and you can use sounds from artists and do your own videos. On Flipaclip you can animate videos and draw. With Wattpad you can read some many genres of e-books made by non-famous people. I use Instagram a lot too. On Instagram I look at crafting videos and nail art. I also use YouTube. On YouTube I like watching gamers, crafters, and slime videos.
I’m not the only one who loves their phone. I had a chance to interview my friend and she shared her thoughts and it was similar to mine. Click the image below to see if we have similar thoughts about our phones.
